Terms of Service

Welcome to Rootyards. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Rootyards website and services (the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Using Rootyards

Rootyards is an online marketplace that connects property owners, agents and builders with prospective buyers and tenants. We provide the platform on which listings are posted and enquiries are exchanged; we are not a party to any transaction between users.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Listings

Property owners and agents are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality and completeness of their listings, including price, location, ownership status and documents. Listings are reviewed before publication, but review does not constitute verification or endorsement. You must not post false, misleading, duplicate or unlawful listings.

4. Buyer and tenant conduct

Enquiries and offers made through the Platform are between you and the lister. Rootyards does not guarantee the availability, condition or legal standing of any property. Conduct your own due diligence, including document verification and site visits, before entering into any transaction.

5. Fees

Basic listing and browsing are free. Certain services — such as featured placements, boosts and subscriptions — may carry charges, which will be shown before purchase. Fees paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Prohibited use

You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by scraping data, posting spam, impersonating others, circumventing security, or using the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual property

The Platform, its design and its content (excluding user-submitted listings) are owned by Rootyards. You retain rights to content you submit but grant Rootyards a licence to display and distribute it on the Platform.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rootyards is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Platform, from transactions between users, or from reliance on any listing or information.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
